BarryM Spring Nail Polishes

BarryM colours: Mint Green 304- £2.99 // Prickly Pear 311 - £3.99 // Blue Moon 317- £2.99

I was in my local Superdrug searching for some pastel coloured nail polishes and stubbled across these three. Compared to the price I normally pay for nail polishes I thought £2.99/£3.99 was an absolute bargain. As the price was so low I thought I would step out of my normal safe nail shades and experiment with something completely different.

As far as the price goes the nail polishes are nicely pigmented and take two coats to achieve a block colour, the brush is quite thin but you get used to it quite quickly. The only downside is the polish chips very easily so you must apply a good topcoat to lock in the colour.

My favourite shade out of these three has to be the Blue Moon (317). Its the perfect pastel sky blue and looks so nice on my still winter pale hands. I've been resisting buying a Topshop Jumper in the shade but now I must so my hands and clothing can match. I've worn the Mint Green and received so many compliments from friends and strangers. The purple I think will look lovely with a tan especially on holiday. I think you either need very pale skin or a darker tan to make the Prickly Pear pop.

Have you brought any spring nail polishes yet? If so let me know the colours so I can experiment even more. Also let me know your favourites out of these three as i'm still not sure what to re-apply next.

p.s I've decided to become a '.com' so my domain is now www.kate3b.com what i'm really chuffed about. It's something i've been toying with for quite a while and think it just flows a lot better. Hopefully this isn't going to cause any problems with coming onto my blog but if it does please let me know.

Lots of Love
