Who Would Of Thought? Nike Blazers

Nike Blazer Trainers ** (christmas present)

If you would of said to me a year ago, "you'll be wearing nike shoes out in public and not for sport" I would of laughed. However after seeing the collaboration with Liberty and Nike it started to open up my mind to a more comfortable and relaxed day shoe. A few months ago I mentioned to Jim I fancied a pair and heavens be hold he noted this down and got me the perfect coloured pair for christmas. I haven't purposely shared what I got for Christmas this year as it is quite nice to keep some things private but these shoes I just had to blog about.

I love them.

Weekend Post One: Ham House

Coat - Whistles (sold out everywhere online)
Skort- Zara
Shoes - Nike Blazer
Scarf- Zara

Most weekends James and Myself like to take little trips out, with being so crazy busy with christmas festivities we woke up Saturday morning realising we have nothing planned for just us two alone. As old couple-ish as it sounds we love walking around gardens and old English buildings learning about the history of places (hence the engagement at leeds castle). We googled what National Trust places were close to us and Ham House popped up. They have an amazing veggie soup and cute gardens to ponder around in. As sad as this sounds we actually ended getting a National Trust Membership. We go that often that it works out so much cheeper to be a member and also means we can afford more tea and cake when we get there.

Hope you had a lovely weekend.

My Christmas Day and O.O.T.D

Coat - Whistles
Jumper- Whistles
Skirt- Whistles
Shoes- Topshop
Necklace- ZARA

A few snippets from my christmas day. We spent the day at my Mum's house which is the perfect christmas house with a log fire and huge dining table. Excuse the extreme amount of whistles but working for them makes me spend a lot of money as I see new stock all the time. I had the most amazing christmas with family and the best roast dinner of my life.
Hope you all had a lovely christmas day and boxing day today. Jim and myself are cooking a roast for his family so wish us luck! This is my first boxing day off retail for years so I am going to lather in it.

The Black Boot Collection

Top (Left to right) 1.TOPSHOP Aubrey Boots // 2.Topshop Western// 3.French Connection.
Bottom 1. Dr Martens 1460 //  2. Zara Bikers//  Dr Martens Chelsea Boot

I've been thinking about doing this post for quite a while now, and it wasn't until I got all the black boots out to photograph that I realised how many Black Boots I actually own. One thing that is nice to see it that each boot is a completely different style. Also I do actually wear all of them depending on my outfit and the weather etc. My Topshop westerns are the pair that get the most wear as they are so easy and comfortable. The Topshop Aubery are also becoming a day to day boot and they are suitable for day, night and work. My Dr Marten Chelsea boots are the newest to my little collection and I love them, However the leather is still very stiff so they can rub a little, I keep wearing them for short journeys to break them in, but I know they will last me a life time. The ZARA Bikers are the biggest steal here as I got them on mega sale and with my old zara staff discount, I think I ended paying around £20 for them compared to the £79.99 original price tag.
My french connection boots are sadly the least worn as they high is a bit to high for an all day outing but I love them still.
