SUMMER SALE BUYS

SUMMER SALE BUYS

The sales sort of took me by surprise this summer. I guess because the UK weather has been so usually disappointing I didn't put the fact that were half way through June already and yet the sun has made only a few days of appearance.
But luckily I had my bank card to hand when my inbox dinged several times to enlighten me of various 50% OFF marketing emails.
I always jump to French Connection when the sales hit, as I can rarely afford anything full price (even some of there sale items are still a bit steep) but I always seem to find a lovely little dress from season to season. I am jetting off to Majorca in a few weeks and my wardrobe was craving a least one summery item. I love a bit of crochet and white this summer and this dress will look perfect with a tan.
As I've moved out of my parents house I have noticed serval things that I lack in clothing without my mums wardrobe to be my back up. For the first time in however many years I've had to buy my own black belt. I have been "borrowing" my mums CK black belt for years but its a little harder to sneak it out when we live 45 mins away from each other. This belt was £12 which I didn't think was badly priced at all. With the rough leather look and the big brass buckle it adds a little effort to my skinny jeans.

Funnily enough I was about to purchase this Whistles bag just a few days ago, but I had to rush out so I never completed the checkout. To my surprise yesterday evening when I went to purchase it again It had £10 off. I was hoping that the Mint version was going to pop up but it wasn't to be seen anywhere on their website.
Last things last, this backless cami wasn't in the sale but I thought i'd throw it in (and I did get the old NUS discount on it so it is sort of discounted) I love a bit of back detail. As I don't have much going on at the front I find I add a bit of daringness with exposing my back.

I hope you guys managed to bag a few goodies in the sales.

25% OFF ASOS FOR STUDENTS... What I Brought.

THE SWING DRESS

Prices don't include student discount.
GO GO GO... its 25% off ASOS for students for 48 hours only and the swing dress style is all I want to buy right now. I've had my eye on these dresses for a while but was waiting for a good promo to justify buying them all.

I love this shirt dress and when I saw it I had to buy it. By some miracle there was one small size left and I was the last one to grab it before it sold out! I can imagine this dress with my black flat form sandals on holiday/when our english summer appears.

With this style of dress you cant go wrong. In the cooler days you can through on a light jacket and some thick tights and on the warm sunny days it is sassy enough on its own with a bold statement necklace.

This dress I though would look so nice with a pair of my Topshop Boots and the top of my frilled socks poking out. The cut out shoulders adds a more fun and sexy look without it being to much.

The swan print is a lot of fun, and a good way to follow the S/S13 monochrome trend. This with my new round frame ray-bans and over the knuckle rings is going to look lovely in the summer.

What have you guys brought with the 25% off, I'd love to know!

PAY DAY: ASOS HAUL

PAY DAY: ASOS HAUL

ASOS sleeveless dress / ASOS tshirt dress  ASOS platform shoes

Like everyone I lust for PAY DAY wishing its presents often upon me sooner than it comes. Every month I tell myself not to spend as much as the last, to save money incase of emergency. However, with payday comes fantastic offers from lots of companies knowing you know have the money to spend. It is just so hard to resist the odd dress or two. My main problem in life, is that I am a marketing dream. Any offer / promotion I have to be a part of it and I fell  flicking through ASOS page after page of payday outfit offers. THE WORST THING IS... NONE OF THESE WERE EVEN IN THE ASOS OFFER. Somehow i managed to venture off into a different link and couldn't resist these items.

Now I do have reason to justify these lovely clothes. I've been amazingly offered a place at LCF to do an fdA in fashion design and marketing and well I must look fantastic if i'm going to a fashion university.

Please do let me know what you think of these items and lots of love.

Uni Day #1

Jacket - Urban Outfitters
Leggings- Asos
Top-Topshop (via Ebay)
Hat- Asos

This is a first of my Uni Day outfit posts. I will be posting every Monday, & Friday on my Uni outfits (whilst in term time). I am trying to find a posting schedule that actually works with my busy life and hopefully having a plan will make my blog a lot more consistent. You might of also noticed quite a few changes to my blog layout etc i'm still trying to find a style that i'm happy with, but good news is, is that I think i've finally sort of made up my mind.

Outfit breakdown
I paired this outfit with my Topshop studded boots, but I think this would also look good with Doc Martins.
This is the first time i've really owned a beaning/boyfriend hat as normally they make my head look very pea-like but I think this ASOS beanie works well. These are my second pair of leather look leggings as I loved my first pair from ASOS but they were just too tight and sadly fell apart on the bottom. After buying this pair I really do prefer these, they are high-waisted so I wont have to keep yanking them up, as this particular material slips on your skin and they slip down quite a lot. The leather look is also a lot more expensive looking on these leggings rather than looking to bin baggy they actually look like a PU/leather fabric.
This military style jacket is from a couple of years ago when military was in fashion before. This jacket is just one of my grab and go's as it just contrasts with pretty much most outfits. However I am looking for a new winter through on jacket in the parker style, is there any brands or shops you can suggest?
