INSTANT SMOOTH CRYSTAL LIP BALM IN CRYSTAL ROSE 05 BY CLARINS

CLARINS Crystal Lip Balm in CRYSTAL ROSE 05 - £18.00

This cleverly design Lip balm/ Lipstick gives you a balm texture on the outside with a beautiful and bold lipstick on the inside. I often find with lipsticks they can be quite matt and dry out your lips. This however creates both smooth lips whilst giving you a strong and lasting raspberry coloured lip.

When purchasing this I was worried it would be quite pale once on the lips but the colour is strong and lasts all day. The balm I have found makes my lips appear plumper and so many people have complimented me.

The packaging as always is beautiful and feels quite heavy (this is how I also measure quality by the packaging) as there is nothing worse than ordering something quite pricey online and it turning up looking cheap and a waste.

Before buying this I wasn't 100% sold on these lipstick come lip balm products, sometimes I worry that they focus more of the image and loose the quality of the products but this has defiantly changed my mind.

Have you tried these multi balm and lipstick products? I'd love to hear your views

DAILY ENERGIZER CREAM-GEL BY CLARINS

Daily Engergizer Cream-Gel by CLARINS £21.00

I've found with my 2 year long cleansing and moisturising routine has become boring with no real difference or impact to my skin anymore. So a rather large order from Clarins later I've completely re-jazzed  my skin.
After reading some good reviews online I decided to take the plunge and venture into the moisturising unknown.

onto the cream...

The fragrance of the cream is very spring like and has a hint of floral to it. It is a nice smell that isn't to over powering, it makes you feel fresh as well as look fresh.
The formula as you can tell from the product name is a something in-between a cream and gel but more of a thick cream than gel like. Its cooling onto the skin and helps create a bright and awake skin finish. Although the cream is quite wet on the skin it does dry rather quickly leaving you with a fresh face rather than anything to tight.
My favourite thing about this cream is how a little bit goes along way, as the pot is rather on the small size there is nothing worse than spending a fair amount on a product and you  having to use a big scoopful everyday and it being all used up in a week.
For someone who has used the same product for years on end I have to say I shan't be going back. This cream is just the refresh my skin needed.
Let me know your thoughts if you've recently changed your skin routine or tried this product?

MAC TECHNAKOHL EYELINER in AUTO-DE-BLU

This eye pencil is so beautiful, and makes any eye colour stand out. I often use it for my going out/nighttime makeup looks.
The formula is very good and it lasts all night the only down side is that because its quite a creamy texture it can smudge a little if your ears become watery.
The liner can be removed easily with a liquid makeup remover but make up wipes don't seem to make it budge.
The colour reminds me of a real deep but electric blue, however I think depending on what other eyeshadow combinations you wear with it, will either dull down the colour or make it pop.
I'm normally only into a nude colouring but this really makes such an impact, I've started to branch out into colour. I bit of eyeliner or brightly coloured nail polish can really make a difference without look to clown-like.

Whats your favourite eyeliners?

TOPSHOP LIP CRAYON IN CLUELESS

TOPSHOP Lip Crayon In CLUELESS £7.00

I never thought I would be the one choosing to buy a crayon over a lipstick. I saw them more as drawing on the lips rather than the traditional seductive lipstick appliance.
However I've been converted. The application of these Lip Crayons is just so easy you can line your lips and fill them within seconds and get the perfect shape. The Crayon is thick enough to be able to hold easily even with my shaky hands.

The lipstick pigmentation is so strong its great! It lasts on your lips for hours (I woke up the next morning with traces of it still on my lips). The formulae isn't the best as its so matt that it dries your lips to concrete. So you must wear a lip balm underneath or gloss over it and make sure you sugar your lips otherwise all dry parts will be exposed.

The colour is beautiful and its so easy to top up on to the go. I find with most bright coloured lipsticks I'm always checking if i need to re-apply because they often wear off really quickly.

Have you tried the TOPSHOP Crayons, or any other brands? I'd love to know more recommendations so I can experiment more.

MAC LIPSTICK IN SUNNY SUOEL

Who doesn't love a summer toned coral lipstick, the only problem is finding a shade thats neither to bright or too dull. Thankfully for my personal preference i've found the perfect one.
You'll often find me scouring the beauty section of the Debenhams website, scanning through product after product during there 10% off promotions. This time round my debit card was hit hard with a lot of products, one of them being the MAC'S SUNNY SOUELS lipstick.

This lipstick is my favourite formula from MAC, as it applies very easily and stays on your lips for a considerable amount of time. The only downside is that I have found the creamy formula can tend to melt in your bag on a very hot day. This aside the wear is fantastic, the shade will work for both a spring/summer day and a evening out on the town. The Sunny Suoel has taken a seat in one of my 'go too' lipsticks.

As well as a photograph of me looking rather happy, you can also see this shade in movement on my YouTube Channels uploads. I used this lipstick in my SPRING MAKE-UP TUTORIAL.

What do you think of this MAC Lipstick? what's your favourite coral lipstick?

CLARINS SPLENDOURS SUMMER BRONZING COMPACT: REVIEW

CLARINS SPLENDOURS SUMMER BRONZING COMPACT- £30

This bronzer is almost to pretty to use and I feel so sad knowing after a few good swirls with my brush the design will disappear.
Clarins just seem to know that they are doing when it comes to limited edition products, as soon as I saw this beauty I instantly had an urge to buy it.  The design allows you to create a beautiful bronze with a hint of gold shimmer, perfect for the summer.

The only warning is that the pigmentation is very strong, and rather orangey based so it is best to start off with a small amount and build up the bronzing to how you like you. The shading is so pretty you could wear this as a bronzing/blush and it gives you an sun kissed glow.

The size of the product I was really impressed with, often when you see these kind of bronzers for this price there super tiny but this is huge, it is bound to last you ages especially with the small amount you need. I think with a product like this you should see it as a long term investment (this is how i justify spending the money to myself).

The saddest thing is that the product is limited edition so soon there will be a craze to buy it and you wont be able to enjoy its beautiful bronzing. My advice would be go to the clarins counter give it a try and if you like it buy it there and then, there nothing worse than make-up regret.

What do you think of this bronzing compact? Do you think its worth the money?

KEYVN AUCOIN CREAMY GLOW BLUSH IN TANSOLEIL :REVIEW

Keyvn Aucoin Creamy Glow Blush in shade : TANSOLEIL (via Space.NK) - £19

It's so hard not trying these products before I photograph them. So if you think 'oh she hasn't even used it yet' I can ashore you its destroyed by the time this post goes up.

I know this product is a little on the pricey side for a blusher. However I've found such a love for cream blushers and after picking it up several times in Space NK and repeatedly testing it on the back of my hand I finally bit the bullet and brought it. After watching numerous amounts of gh0stparties videos on applying cream blush, I have learnt such a good way of wearing these kind of products.

Onto the blusher...

The shade TANSOLEIL is a gorgeous orange come peach shade. I've been slightly tanning up my face and neck over the past week to match the slight sunshine in the UK. The peachy tones compliment a tan really well, but I've also tested this with my natural pale tone and it is just as flattering.
I simply apply by using my finger to dab the product onto my cheeks and blend out with a real techniques stippling brush. It's the kind of colour pigmentation that you can build on depending on how bright you like your cheeks to glow. I like to apply it twice to create the colour I like, but its all dependent on your own personal preference.

The Creamy Glow Blush lasts well on your skin. I have found with some other branded Cream blushers that they slide around on your face and give a slight greasy feeling but this almost a mixture between cream and matt once your cheeks.
I have very lightly powdered on top of the product as i'm always a little fearful of cream products rubbing off onto my clothing, but you can leave it bare and have that summer dewy skin.

I am really glad i've invested into Kevyn Aucoin, until I read several reviews on these creamy blushers i've always been fearful to stray away from my trusty MAC products. However I dare say i've found a new replacement to my 'go too' blushers.

Have any of you tried Kevyn Aucoin's Creamy Glow Blushers? If so what do you think of these blushers and shades to you love?

NARS IMMACULATE COMPLEXION CONCEALER REVIEW

NARS Immaculate Complexion CONCEALER IN LIGHT1 CHANTILLY - £18 (via ASOS)

With contouring like Kim Kardashian being so hot right now, I thought it was time to invest into a good extremely light concealer. With ASOS student discount 48 hours offer I jumped at the opportunity to spoil myself. This is the first NARS product i've purchased and goodness knows why I waited so long.

Like i've said many times before, packaging is such a big influence on what products I go for. It's like a first impression if you meet someone for the first time their outfit screams what their inner personality is, so shorley make-up brands do the same. The sleek matte black packaging with the branding name in white shows to me simplicity is key with this brand they allow the products to do the talking and the packaging simply assists and allows the product to shine.

Onto the Concealer. This product has the perfect consistency of creamy and stiff. Its stiff enough to stay where you want it whilst still allowing you to blend away any harsh lines. Although I'm already a very pale person I would say Chantilly was 3 shades lighter than my true skin tone. This is why I think the product works so well it brightens up my eyes and cheekbones allowing the darker contour to work its sculpting magic. A key thing about this product is how well it sits on top of foundation.

The foundation I use is Chanel vitalumiere and its quite a greasy product, so I've found products like the Benefit Booing concealer slides around a lot. However the formula of the Nars seems to stay in place especially after applying my Clarins Mineral Powder it sits perfectly where I apply it.

I've become obsessed with finding products to allow me to create the flawless skin finish whats so in fashion at the moment. What do you think of this trend? Have you tried this NARS product? If so I'd love to hear your opinions.

Estee Lauder Signature 5-Tone Shimmer Powder Review

Estee Lauder Signature 5-Tone Shimmer Powder in Pink Shimmer£30.00 (via House of Fraser)

This beautifully packaged and presented product by Estee Lauder screams high end glamorous make-up. I've had my eye on this shimmer powder for some weeks now but had to give my self a good enough reason to cough up the £30. Unfortunately like most beautiful products I run out of reasons why I shouldn't buy it and find myself unknowingly handing over my debit card to the kind Estee Lauder ladies.

The graduation of white through to a deep pink creates the perfect multi-use colour. I swirled my brush around all the colours for blusher and this made a nice shimmery spring/summer pink. I then used a small amount the very dark pink on the apple of my cheeks. Finishing off with the white/baby pink as a highlighter.

This Shimmer Powder can be very subtle and understated or shimmer and sun kissed. I love having a product that you can build up rather than the colour being to bright with just one brush stroke. I know this is going to look gorgeous on holiday with a bronze skin, and I cant wait to try it with a tan.

After using the product quite a few times now I have fallen more and more in love with it. I find my self grabbing it in my make up without even contemplating other blushers. My mum has always worn estee lauder make up and i've borrowed hers since I can remember, its nice having my own shimmer product that I don't have to give back!

Have you tried the Estee Lauder Signature 5-tone shimmer powder? What shade would you choose?

CLARINS Mineral Loose Powder : Review

CLARINS Mineral Loose Powder In 02 Medium :  £30.00

I've been on a mad women hunt for the perfect powder. I can finally say i've found my holy grail.
This powder is light weight on the skin and sets make-up, helping it last all day. I've got the kind of skin that make-up wears off just after a few hours but this has improved the last of my foundation dramatically.

MAC Blush In Well Dressed: Review

MAC BLUSH : WELL DRESSED £17.50

I purchased this blush via Debenhams when they were doing a 10% off beauty promo. I always try to be savvy when I buy more expensive products whether its getting a few free samples or free delivery etc. I like to have a scan around to make sure I am getting the best deal possible.

I chose this colour because I thought it defined Spring, its light, fresh and pastel much like most spring colouring in clothing and flowers. The product is well pigmented but is more designed for a paler skin tone. I find I have to apply a fair amount unlike a deeper colour such as Mac Stereo Rose.
